Song Rise Sessions II Showcases ATX’s Current & Next Generation of Music Trailblazers
The November 25th special event at Antone’s features favorites like promqueen, Somebody Someone, Anastasia Hera, Skateland and Tomar Williams and eight exceptional young artists from Song Rise Arts
Song Rise Sessions isn't just a well-curated concert with a handful of Austin’s favorite acts, it’s also a launching ground for the next class of heavyweight artists. You may not know them all yet, but you likely will soon.
This year’s event features performances from acclaimed local artists including Vietnamese American pop/rap artist and former KUTX Artist of the Month promqueen, Tiny Desk favorite and alt-pop songwriter Somebody Someone, "genre-hopping hustler" (Austin Chronicle) Quentin, KUTX Artist of the Month rapper Anastasia Hera, and KUTX Artist of the Month bedroom pop artist Skateland.
They’ll share the stage with eight rising young artists from the Song Rise Arts Thrive Program — Eddie Angel, Kira, Luna, Cherri, Zachquietdwn, Yen, Gem, and ULTRA Violetcoraline — representing genres ranging from alt-R&B and bedroom pop to soulful pop en Español.
